Enterprise Business Intelligence Data Integration Developer

How You Will Spend Your Days as a Developer :

ETL Project Development (80%):

  • This individual is responsible for the development and delivery of all Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) ETL components related to project and enhancement work.
  • Develops using US LBM best practices and ensures quality of data in each source and target prior to releasing code for UAT or code migration.
  • Performs data profiling exercises in order to identify necessary transformations within the ETL code.
  • Fluent in Erwin Data Modeler in order to create and edit Database objects.
  • Develops using Dimensional Data Warehousing best practices.
  • Participate in requirements gathering workshops.
  • Ensure the quality of all ETL deliverables with respect to agreed upon standards.
  • Gather reporting technical requirements to conduct necessary analysis to determine required BI technical work.

ETL Advisory Support (20%):

  • Provide advisory support to the Analytics Managed Services Delivery team in support of architecture, design, and development within assigned process area(s) in support of break- fix, or optimization efforts.
  • Will be an ongoing advocate to drive US LBM’s standardization, adoption, data quality, and acceptance testing for Analytics.
  • Will work with internal and external customers to understand and assess their needs and document requirements, recommendations, estimates, schedules and system information meeting quality standard for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

We want you to join the team if you can check these boxes:

  • Minimum experience required - 4+ years  ETL Development – Oracle ODI / Oracle Cloud.
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Cloud.  Working knowledge of MicroStrategy or other Analytics reporting tool preferred.  Experience in Data Modeling (Erwin) and strong SQL skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Dimensional Data Warehousing methodology (Kimball).
  • Expert knowledge of Data Modeling tools.  Erwin Data Modeler Experience a plus.
  • Able to investigate data and discover patterns and conduct technical data validation between data warehouse and source system(s).
  • Must be a self-driven, motivated, team player willing and skilled to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in advanced analytics is preferred, e.g. simple data aggregation, statistical analysis, complex data mining, etc., with ability to execute defined objective, solutions, and option analysis.
