Credit Administrator

R&K is currently hiring for a Credit Administrator.

Position Review: The Credit Administrator is responsible for the credit collection process and other routine office duties; may assist Credit Manager/Finance Manager. 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Review and approve all requests for credit using appropriate company guidelines.
  • Knowledge of all legal aspects of the collection process.
  • Grant credit according to company policy.
  • Schedule and run aging reviews for the company.
  • Handle all accounts receivable collections for assigned location.
  • Make contact and take appropriate action to collect on NSF checks.
  • Assist in cash receipts/collections for daily deposit.
  • Prepare and distribute all monthly statements of accounts.
  • Enforce all aspects of company credit policy while handling various duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
  • Complies with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance. 
  • Other duties as assigned by location management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum experience required: 5 years experience in credit and collection process. Experience in building materials and construction preferred.
  • Must have great communication, must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects, work well under extreme pressure and stress, must have employee developmental skills and the ability to work with many different levels of management.
  • Ability to handle interpersonal conflict, strong verbal and written skills, and ability to pursue collections as needed to meet goals of company.
  • Working knowledge of legal compliance and lien laws relating to collection of debts.
  • Confidentiality requirement is top priority
  • Must be computer literate in applicable software and hardware applications.
  • Physical demands include lifting up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. on a random basis. Sitting for extended periods of time, and bending or stooping.
